Using HP Hose Sleeving can also reduce the amount of heat and upper radiator hose radiates to an air intake system. This can help lower IAT’s and create more horsepower. The special heat coating allows this sleeving to reflect and dissipate heat. The special braid of sleeving allows it to have an expandable inside diameter up to 15 percent of its nominal ID. Kits include 2 heat shrink to seal the heat shield to the radiator hose making it work more efficiently and prevent fraying.r
